Even brand new the frame / I drive bolt were not tight enough and the big bolts snapped when I was riding.I would stay away from GT, Norco. Plus they have stocks for my frame.I had a GT Fury in Europe and the customer service is a joke, they didn't even have I drive parts. Jump, and you will not have to go through warranty hell… Sorry guys, but what do you think a low weight frame is capable of? But 2 frames in 9 months sounds like you should look out for a big bike, instead of abusing these poor little enduros…
It needs to be a relatively easy trail so the testers can get consistent lap times safely. You don’t want the test track to be too gnarly and risk Injury to the testers. But even if you were to host a one-off DH race on the track, I bet most racers would not be reaching for their longer travel machines. From what I've gathered, if the track is the same as the one the Canadian Enduro Series has raced on Sugar to Sweet One in the past, it's extremely trail bike oriented and not that steep. Same here, and i wish thered been an alloy available at the time i got my jeffsy… Great as-is, easy to bump the gnar factor up with a +10 stoke on the fork. I'm short and ride small-framed bikes. New Top Fuel (al frame set) is the other option. I also swapped to 170mm cranks and a 35mm stem. Or would XL size ruin the nimble feel in turns and so? If you were an inch taller (I'm 6'1) maybe XL with 40 mm stem instead of L with 60 mm?
Which suggests other manufacturers likely are having the same issues. As someone who went through YT's warranty service 2 times in a year, I can vouch for this. From experience, the seat feels much more in the way when you have a short dropper w/ steep seat angle versus a short dropper with a relaxed seat angle.
